The Industry Authority Since 1982

About Nationwide Overspray

Since 1982, Nationwide Overspray has been the undisputed expert in professional paint overspray removal and vehicle contamination claims. We are a dedicated, family-owned company built on over four decades of unparalleled experience and a commitment to perfection. Our legacy is built on solving the most complex contamination problems quickly, effectively, and with uncompromising quality.

Our Heritage: Family-Owned Expertise Since 1982

Nationwide Overspray was founded on principles of integrity, quality, and personalized service—values that remain at our core today. Being family-owned since 1982 isn’t just part of our history; it’s the reason we treat every claim with the personal attention and detail typically reserved for family. This heritage of deep, sustained expertise has allowed us to process more than 1.5 million overspray insurance claims, from the first call to post-project reporting, making us the industry’s most trusted name.

The Nationwide Overspray Difference: Unmatched Quality of Work

Our reputation is rooted in a superior, meticulous restoration process that guarantees the vehicle’s finish will be as good as, or better than, its pre-damaged state. Unlike cheaper, faster methods that rely on high-speed mechanical buffing (which causes swirl marks and irreversible damage to the clear coat), our method prioritizes preservation and perfection. We remove paint, industrial dust, and chemical fallout by hand using precise techniques, ensuring the integrity of the original paint job and earning the trust of both insurance carriers and claimants nationwide.

The Overspray Removal Process

Our superb removal process is completed by hand with no mechanical buffing that might scratch the painted surface or clear coat. We use a variety of techniques and approaches, depending on the particular contaminant, to remove all overspray from the painted surface and plastic trim.

We specialize in removing contaminants including:

  • Paints: Enamel, Urethane, Lacquer, Spray Paint, Industrial Coatings, and Epoxy Paint.

  • Environmental Fallout: Tar/oil, Iron Dust, Vandalism, Road Spray, and Chemical Emissions.

  • Concrete

We are also able to clean most plastic trim parts, often reducing supplemental costs on the claim. All vehicles are finished with a high-gloss wax, making the finish shine.

Detailed Claim Management

With over 40 years of experience, we excel in overspray insurance claim management. We handle all the details so you don’t have to.

Our process includes:

  • Pre-Clean Inspection: We accurately note pre-existing damage and identify any necessary parts replacement as a part of our process.

  • Internal Management: Our top-notch administrative staff and managers handle your claim internally and communicate every step of the way.

Speed. Service. Sustainability.

Mobile Crews & Response

We know that speed to the site is critical. We provide a fully mobile crew of highly skilled overspray removal technicians who are ready to respond quickly to any claim nationally or internationally. Our certified, uniformed technicians are also trained to conduct pre-clean inspections and provide vehicle owners with excellent customer service.

Customer Service Excellence

The onsite technicians and home office support personnel are highly motivated and skilled at customer relations and service. Our entire company is full of friendly people with positive attitudes and attention to detail.

Electronic Reporting

In 2012, we rolled out our digital process to reduce paper. Claimants can sign iPad liability release forms electronically. The data is instantly uploaded, and full daily reports with the latest information are provided, ensuring efficient and transparent communication.

ECO Friendly Solutions

We prioritize environmental responsibility at every site. We can manage a claim using our own water source along with water reclamation mats to contain and dispose of all water used for the project. The products we use are also environmentally friendly and do not harm the finish of the vehicles.
